City Hall

Wiki article

As you rise through the ranks of your criminal syndicate, raising your own notoriety, you will inevitably start to have run ins with city officials. Chicago Rum's City Hall feature allows players to collude with city officials for their own corrupt gain. Its a win-win scenario, but watch out for Hoover's boys.

Attempts

By navigating to City Hall, players can begin making attempts at City Hall. These are considered engaging in acts of brazen corruption, trying to bribe or intimidate city officials into aiding your schemes or keeping quiet.

Players are rewarded with progress towards their next act of corruption for all City Hall attempts. Additionally, players have a small chance of earning a piece of Intel when their attempts are successful.

In a coming update, players will also be awarded Rank XP for City Hall Attempts.

Influence

All City Hall attempts require players to have a certain level of Influence available. This number can be found in the upper right corner of the City Hall type.

Influence functions as a charged ability system similar to Energy and Nerve. It regenerates at a constant rate of 5 per 10 minutes. Players begin with and may store up to 100 influence at a time.

Intel and Prohibition

As mentioned previously, players are awarded Intel for successful attempts. This is a new item stored in inventories. However, it differs in that it is only available for a limited time.

Intel always expires and is removed from the inventory on Monday at midnight Chicago Rum time.

The primary use of intel is to discover the price of each type of liquor in each city for the following week in the Prohibition Page.

Players are able to either work solo or cooperatively in Crews to uncover all of the liquor prices in each city for the next week. When in a crew, the price will automatically be unlocked for all members of a crew when one member spends an intel on it.

Uncovered liquor prices will reset on Monday at midnight game time at the same time intel expires.

Favors

A secondary use of intel is to purchase moderately powerful buffs called Favors. They range from instantly busting yourself from jail to enabling yourself to carry 50% extra liquor for 12 hours. Currently we offer the following favors

  • Warden's Key - Instantly Escape Your Jail Sentence - 1 intel
  • Rail Connections - Instantly reset your travel timer - 2 intel
  • Automobile Registry Insider - 25% more likely to steal cars for 2 hours - 4 intel
  • Home Registry Insider - 2x Faster Nerve Refill for 2 hours - 6 intel
  • Bureau Insider - Carry 50% more liquor for 12 hours - 7 intel

As long as a favor is activated before intel expires, it will remain active for its entire duration, even if it conflicts with the intel expiration date.
