Organized Crime
Wiki articleGet together with three of your fellow mobsters and collude to commit bold acts of sophisticated crime in Chicago Rum. Four players must be present to Complete Organized Crimes
Setting Up
To start with, Organized Crimes require 4 players to be active and participate in them. They cannot be done solo or with less than 4 players.
Organized Crimes may require high setup costs, especially for players just starting out.
Many players may choose to advertise their Organized Crime in the Main Page. If a position is open, anyone is free to join.
Players may also choose to start their own Organized Crime by clicking the Start new button. At this point, the player will need to decide what percentage cut of profits each participant will get if the Organized Crime is successful. Players can also decide to advertise each position. If a position is advertised, anyone in Chicago Rum will be free to join.
Players with higher Player Ranks may have a higher chance of completing Organized Crimes successfully and with a higher completion grade.
Selecting the cut each role will get is important and may influence who will join. There are recommendations for each role available. Players can also click the 'Use Recommended' button to automatically use those percentages.
Roles
There are 4 roles in an organized crime:
- Mastermind - Organized Crime Leader - Picks planning equipment
- Explosive Expert - Picks explosive equipment
- Weapons Expert - Supplies weapons to the group
- Getaway Driver - Supplies the vehicle
Equipment Selection
After percentages have been determined, players will move on to the equipment selection stage. Here, all participants will be able to either purchase items which increase chances of success and/or higher grade completions. The only exception is the Getaway Driver role, that player will need to select one of their Vehicles earned in the Grand Theft Auto feature, the vehicle must also be in the city in which the Organized Crime is taking place.
The Mastermind, Weapons Expert, and Explosive Expert will each have 4 grades of equipment to choose from, increasing in cost with each grade. All equipment will be available for purchase using cash.
The Getaway Driver will be able to use any vehicle from Grand Theft Auto to contribute. Similarly to equipment, higher tier cars and cars with lower damage ratings will increase chances of success and may increase the Completion Grade for the Organized Crime. After the Organized Crime is complete, the Getaway Driver will have their selected vehicle returned to them with some damage added.
Additionally, players will also be able to earn Distraction Items and Enhancing Items from successful Crime completions.

Looting
Once all players have chosen their equipment or vehicle, the Mastermind may decide to begin Looting. Looting is a 5 minute period before the Organized Crime begins where participants work together to earn more rewards.
There will be three activities players can attempt before the Organized Crime begins. They must use Focus, which is a charged ability feature. Players start with and can bank up to 300 focus, it recharges at a constant rate of 10 every 10 seconds.
Players are able to see what activities are available and the focus required to complete them in the looting page, as well as the potential loot.
Some looting activities have limited successful completions. For example, 10 successful completions can happen before it is locked off for the Organized Crime. Since it is cooperative, successes are pooled.

Spree Bonus
After two or successful Organized Crime completions in a row, players will begin to build up a spree, visible in the Spree Bonus bar anywhere on the Organized Crime page. Players can build this up to 25% bonus on loot. To check a spree bonus and how much extra loot was obtained from a prior Organized Crime, see the Rap Sheet page.
