Marketplace and Escrow

Wiki article

Trade in shady items with your fellow crooks on the black market in Chicago Rum.

Marketplace

The Marketplace feature on Chicago Rum allows players to create public listings to sell any quantity of Gold, Bullets, and/or Witness Statements. These items must be purchased with cash. All items successfully sold on the marketplace will have 10% of the revenue taken as tax. Players can have any amount of listings open at a time and can buy as much as they like.

Players who sell Witness Statements on the marketplace will NOT have their username revealed to the player who purchases the item.

Players will receive a message if and when their item sells on the marketplace.

Escrow

Escrow is a more personal form of marketplace. It is an arrangement between only two players to exchange virtually any item available in Chicago Rum, including GTA vehicles and properties. No taxes will be taken from any escrow transaction. Players must both agree to the items which are being exchanged and should look carefully before agreeing.

[helpbox=warning]Scamming in escrow is NOT a violation of Chicago Rum rules and no refunds or reimbursements will be issued in those cases.[/helpbox]

All marketplace and escrow transactions are private, only between the two players involved. However, they are reviewable by staff when necessary.
