Gold
Wiki articleUnlike cash, gold is the more premium currency available on Chicago Rum. It differs from cash in that gold can be used to purchase much more powerful upgrades and items much quicker in game. It is much more valuable than cash.
Obtaining Gold
Gold is primarily obtained via purchase with real world currency through the Gold Purchase page. Gold purchases will be enabled after the official start of the round, but will be priced as follows. All prices listed are in US Dollars

Gold can also be obtained via escrow transfer from other players or purchased on the Marketplace for substantial sums of cash. There is no set price for gold on the marketplace, as its listed by other players.
Additionally, players can also obtain gold directly from staff by reporting important bugs as part of the Bug Bounty Program.
Purpose of Gold
Gold is primarily used to purchase powerful in-game buffs in the Gold Store. These buffs allow players to gain major advantages in-game. Gold can also be traded for anything of value in escrow with others or by selling it on the marketplace for big sums of cash.
